We appreciate companies who are interested in offering internships to our job-seeking students. Students can intern for experience, and/or, take a class along with the internship experience for course credit called MKT 393 or MKT 793.

QUALITIES OF A MARKETING INTERNSHIP
- In order for the student to gain a valuable internship experience the position must be a marketing-related position.
- Students are interested in marketing research, advertising, public relations, sales, and promotions.
- The program runs year-round and the internship should last at least 10 weeks with the student working a minimum of 10 hours/week during the quarter in which he/she is receiving credit.
- Positions are approved according to the Department of Labor Guidelines for an internship and the Marketing Department academic requirements. Internships should involve a supervisor who oversees the student intern’s activities and helps the intern learn as well as work in the professional setting. Work from home options are only approved if there are weekly meetings with a supervisor.
