LearnCore is looking for a Sales Development Representative who can assist with driving our product sales. The best Sales Development Representatives are hunters at heart. They enjoy the challenge of not only identifying key decision makers but ultimately securing scheduled meetings with them.

Sales Development Representatives must have a “thick skin” when it comes to handling rejections and objections. They must also be intuitive, creative, competitive, organized and above all, hard working. They must use all these inherent skills to quickly and effectively articulate the LearnCore value propositions in order to gain commitments for scheduled meetings.

You will work closely on a team with a dedicated Account Executive to develop a strategic territory plan that drives new business meetings which will result in high revenue growth. You will be tasked with filling the top of the sales funnel through scheduling initial meetings.

LearnCore views this role as a stepping stone within the sales team. This position gives the opportunity to grow within the a rapidly expanding sales team, and lay the foundation for a prolonged and successful career.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • #1 priority is to set appointments for Account Executives
  • Work with Account Executive team to develop a strategic plan for meeting the appointment and revenue targets for the territory
  • Understand the full scope of products and services that LearnCore offers
  • Identify new business areas and contacts through lead generation, cold calling, researching and data gathering/mining
  • Qualify leads and appointments based on criteria provided by LearnCore
  • Manage all data and activity through Salesforce.com

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • “Thick skin” as there is no room for taking “NO” personally in this position
  • Ability to be creative, resourceful and autonomous in a start-up environment
  • Must have discipline to dedicate hours each day on the phone
  • Full understanding of products and services LearnCore provides
  • Excellent interpersonal skills- necessary for communicating via phone with a variety of clients
  • Ability to multi-task, showcase attention to detail, as well as, prioritize deadlines- eliminate the opportunity for items to “slip through the cracks”
  • Desire to achieve and exceed sales goals- self starting attitude is critical
  • Possess a teamwork mentality- all hands on deck is necessary when driving company success

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-3 years experience in a B2B business development or inside sales “hunting role”
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Cold Calling & Cold Emailing experience
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce preferred) is a plus
